Get Stuffed.

Hi guys, so a little recipe post for you all...

This is what you'll need to make the best stuffing you'll ever eat.
 2 onions
2 sticks of celery
2 apples
4oz walnuts
8 oz breadcrumbs
Knob of Butter
Single cream
Handful Fresh parsley
1tsp mixed herbs
Salt and pepper

Melt butter and add chopped onions, apples and celery in knob of butter.

Put Walnuts, breadcrumb, parsley, mixed herbs, salt and pepper into separate bowl them add sautéed ingredients and stir thoroughly adding cream.  I zap this mixture in food processor then transfer to oven proof dish (if not stuffing the turkey,or chicken) cook in the oven at medium temp for about 40 minutes.

If you are someone who likes to be prepared for Christmas dinner then this is brilliant because you can make it now and freeze untill needed.

HAPPY COOKING!!

Paris at Christmas

So last year me and some of my best friends got some rather cheap flights to Paris at the end of January- curtsy of Ryan Air. I love Paris, the people (who said the French were rude?), the shopping and the food.

My "sista frum anutha Mista" Stacey and I took a lovely stroll down Champs-Elyees for nothing more than a little window shopping....

(we did venture inside.....I cried)

cough cough future husband ^^^^^

My little beauties

This year we are hoping to head somewhere new, perhaps Berlin/ Rome or Milan?
If you have any recommendations of where to go, stay, eat etc...do share. If you need any information about Paris feel free to contact me.

Gift for Her

Gift for Her

Another little gift guide post guys for anyone needing a hand with their Christmas shopping. I am so pleased I had a look in Pandora the other day because the rings are beautiful and would make a lovely gift for your Sister/Mamma. They are completely affordable so whatever your budget, Pandora is a safe bet. The Russell & Bromley bag...what can I say, look at it! The colour is gorgeous and comes in black if you were wanting to go for a more classic look. It's really suitable for work as well as a spot of shopping, very chic!

Happy Shopping folks

Christmas List

Christmas List

It's that time of year again, thank god because I need some new clothes. I've put together a little wish list to give Santa, ie- Mum and Dad, a little helping hand. I'm loving the iridescent bag it will make any outfit ready for a night out. The black boots are totally bad ass and would look so cool with a tartan/ leather skirt. The MAC lashes are a must have for the festive season and these ones you can wear more than once! Would love to hear what you guys have on your wish list

Peace!!

Square Trend
Coats are an absolute MUST over Autumn and Winter, for obvious reasons, but it is no excuse to hide your amazing style so why not invest in a fabulous plaid number. The last seasons strict monochrome has finally left the runway and made way for a splash of colour. Zara- as always- have really impressed! The bottom right hand one is £145 the thing is you have to be tall to wear this one and unfortunately I am not. I have included a few accessories to complete a lovely British look. Daniel Wellington Watch £120, Zara Mini City bag £30 and Kurt Geiger "Bonjour" Boots £90.

Coats:
1.Left hand red plaid- £650 Burberry (one can dream)

Top right hand corner clockwise
2. ASOS red plaid vintage £65
3. ASOS Green and blue tartan tie coat was £70 NOW £49!!!
4. ASOS Longline coloured coat £176
5. ZARA Checked coat £139

Boudoir Lovin

Recently I had my bedroom back home decorated, Its a small little room so I didn't want it to look as cluttered as it usually does ( I'm a messy person) but still homely and feel lived in.

This website is brilliant for wallpaper that stands out. I had just one wall covered in this yellow floral paper. LOVE IT!

I found great cushions on http://www.urbanoutfitters.co.uk
for £20 to £40 each. These are great gifts aswell, there were plenty to choose from.

For my floor, I was fed up having a cream carpet which just got covered in make-up so we took the carpet up and varnished the floorboards! Very cheap and looks super homely. (2 or 3 coats of varnish required after sanding them down).

Finally my mum found  a desk and wardrobe from a local charity shop. I've always preferred  pieces of furniture that are unique so these 1930's pieces are perfect and go really well with the rest of the room.

Please excuse the mess you can see in the reflection, I told you I'm messy!

NUXE Rêve de Miel® Ultra Nourishing Lip Balm 15g - Marks & Spencer

If I was stuck on a desert island, these are the products I would take (plus sun screen obviously). You can various brands of Argan Oil but if you buy from a good stockist like feelunique.com, you are sure to get a good kind like Fushi. It makes your hair shine- not look greasy! it keeps those pesky dead ends at bay aswell. I swear by this Bobbie Brown eye cream from John Lewis, your peepers will never look tired and dark again I promise. I only recently discovered this wonderful Lipblam from M&S thanks to my flatmate. Its so thick and stays on for hours leaving your lips feeling moisturised and not oily like alot of others do, a MUST buy girls. Clinque have always had  brilliant skin care products but the 3 step is fantastic. The ladies at the counter will test your skin so you'll find out which face wash and cleanser is best for you. The "Dramatically Different Moisturiser" really is what it says on the tin. Finally my favourite hand cream, Crabtree & Evelyn have loads of creams to choose so I usually change everytime, luckily they make a regular appearance in my stocking each year but you can order them online from www.crabtree-evelyn.co.uk.

Have stocking up and looking B-E-A-UTIFUL.

Hello!!

First of all, HELLO and welcome to my blog. To save confusion my name is Mhairi, pronounced like Vari, but spelled in a strange way because my parents clearly wanted to make life harder for their first born.

Secondly, a little about me. I am currently in my second year at Robert Gordon University studying Fashion Managment. I'm Aberdeen based but Glasgow is my home.

At the moment I am trying hard to "YOLO" up my life (excuse the expression) so hopefully the following pages will inspire you to do the same. Most of the time on a budget, I am a skint student remember!

Love and Peace folks....
